Look for Less: Target's Ghost Chair

Posted on: Friday, April 15, 2011

I love ghost chairs. The clear, modern silhouette is visually unobtrusive and perfect when working with a small space.

Have you seen that Target has put out their own version of the infamous chair? It is being sold in sets of two in white, black and clear. Would you use the affordable Target version in your home, or hold out to purchase the original?

Go Target. I would totally buy a target chair, thanks for the tip. Headed to the website now! Also, Target bought Smith and Hawken, another awesome addition!

I'd totally buy the Target ones. I love the Kartell version, but my budget could never justify it. But I might have found a happy medium in scratch-n-dent sales by party rental companies. I just met Raul from Lavish designs in Miami and he told me they're having a warehouse sale before May! No ghost chairs, but two lovely Eames management chairs might come home with me.

this is a tough one foe me. the original one isn't super expensive, but selling them in pairs is tempting. i've been thinking about getting one for my desk. i think i need to go to target and try it out....i wonder if they have them in the store.

I have a Ghost chair at work and it is the most uncomfortable chair (for long term sitting...) but I would totally buy one for for my house at a target price!

Amazing how all the retailers have more and more of all our favorite items for so much less!! Love having all the price options. You always pay for what you get.
